News Release
RICHMOND, Ind. – The Department of Health and Human Services' (HHS) Office of the National Coordinator for Health Information Technology (ONC) today announced the six winners of the inaugural ONC Market R&D Pilot Challenge.
CreateIT Healthcare Solutions, a tenant of the Richmond Innovation Center, was announced as one of six national winners chosen to receive $50,000 to fund a pilot program to live-test their health information technology application in a health care setting administered by their challenge partner. Winning programs will become operational in August.
The ONC Market R&D Challenge launched on October 20, 2014 with the goal of finding early stage health care startups from across the country and connecting them with health care organizations and stakeholders with whom they could potentially run a pilot program to test the application.
“CreateIT Healthcare Solutions consistently stands out in Indiana as a premier development organization and we are excited for them to receive this national recognition for their innovative healthcare solutions,” said Jason Whitney, Executive Director of the Richmond Innovation Center.
