Ribbon Cutting Set for $24M Highway Project

Indiana Department of Transportation Commissioner Joe McGuinness and Richmond Mayor Dave Snow will participate a ribbon cutting to mark completion of the $24 million reconstruction of U.S. 27/U.S. 40 in downtown Richmond. The project is part of Governor Eric Holcomb’s Next Level Roads program.
The governor’s office says the Next Level Roads Program is a 20-year, fully funded plan to maintain and improve Indiana’s roads.
The ceremony will be held at the Model T Museum at 309 North 8th St. in Richmond at 1 p.m. Wednesday.
