Ribbon Cutting Set For Fort Wayne Hotel

Officials in Fort Wayne will Wednesday cut the ribbon on a new hotel on the city’s north side. Greater Fort Wayne Inc. says the $10 million, 92-room Tru by Hilton Fort Wayne is the first of its kind in Indiana and employs 20.
The hotel is located near I-69 and Lima Road in Fort Wayne. It features a 2,880-square-foot lobby area, a 24/7 "Eat & Sip" market, mobile check-in, and digital keys. General Manager Connie Wannemacher says the grand opening celebration is the "culmination of many months of hard work and collaboration with city officials."
The hotel is owned by Fort Wayne Hotels LLC and managed by Dora Hospitality. The ribbon cutting ceremony is scheduled for 3:00 p.m.
