Ribbon Cutting Set For Former Hospital Site
A ribbon cutting for a $63 million project will be held next week at the former Central State Hospital site in Indianapolis. Federal, state and local officials will host the event at the 150-acre site. City officials say it will showcase four projects.
The ribbon cutting is scheduled for Wednesday, May 6.
The hospital was closed by former Governor Evan Bayh in the mid-1990s. Redevelopment plans have been discussed for nearly a decade.
