Revenue Dips at Indiana Casinos
The Indiana Gaming Commission is reporting lower monthly casino revenue in March. The agency says adjusted gross revenue was $191.4 million, compared to $205.2 million during the same month last year. Only two of the state's 13 gaming venues saw higher revenue last month, compared to 2014.
Belterra Casino Resort in Florence reported revenue of $9.7 million in March, up from $9.2 million during the same month in 2014.
French Lick Casino in Orange County notched up to nearly $6.3 million from $5.9 million.
Horseshoe Casino Southern Indiana registered one of the biggest comparative dips. In March, the Elizabeth-based venue took in around $17.1 million, compared to $22 million a year ago.
