News Release
HAMMOND, Ind. – The South Shore Convention and Visitors Authority and The Times of Northwest Indiana are seeking restaurants to participate in the inaugural “Savor the South Shore,” a two-week event offering diners specially priced three-course dinner menus April 6 through April 19.
“The South Shore offers an impressive and diverse assortment of restaurants,” explained Speros A. Batistatos, president and CEO of the South Shore CVA. “‘Savor the South Shore’ gives these businesses the opportunity to attract new customers who may not have discovered them otherwise.”
Restaurants are asked to submit their menu information by visiting www.southshorecva.com/savor. The form will ask for menu price point and specifics, hours available, and whether or not lunch will also be offered.
Participation in the two-week event is free and open to all restaurants located in Northwest Indiana that offer lunch and dinner. All participating restaurants will have their menu featured on the “Savor the South Shore” microsite.
Restaurants will have the opportunity to participate in a gift card promotion. Restaurant week sponsorship opportunities are also available.
