Restaurant Raids Continue

A statewide investigation into several Mexican restaurants is continuing. Our partners at The Times of Northwest Indiana report Indiana State Police and Indiana Excise Police conducted raids Monday on La Carreta restaurants in Merrillville and Schererville, in addition to others at El Rodeo locations in Indianapolis, Lafayette, Richmond and West Lafayette. Agencies involved with the investigation, including the Marion and Tippecanoe county prosecutors' offices, have not said why the actions are being taken.

No arrests have been made nor have criminal charges been filed to this point.
