South Bend, Ind. — WorkOne is teaming with Republic Services to hold a HIRING EVENT seeking multiple drivers and shop technicians on Nov. 19 in South Bend.
What: WorkOne & Republic Services HIRING EVENT.
Who: Open to JOB SEEKERS ONLY
Where: WorkOne Saint Joseph County, 851 South Marietta Street, South Bend, 46601.
When: Wednesday, Nov. 19, 2014; 1:00- to-3:00 p.m. Details: Individuals interested in these positions should apply before the event at: www.republicservices.com.
DRIVERS: $15.00 hourly.
–High school diploma or GED.
–Two years of prior experience driving heavy commercial trucks.
–Experience in a customer-facing position.
–One year of experience in the waste-services industry.
SHOP TECHNICIANS: $17.00–$20.00 hourly.
–High school diploma or GED. Two years of prior experience driving heavy commercial trucks.
–Experience in a customer-facing position. One year of experience in the waste-services industry.
–High school diploma, or GED and certificate, or degree from an accredited automotive college, or technical school.
–Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) certification T3 Drive, ASE T4 Brake, ASE T5 Suspension & Steering, ASE T6 Electrical / Electronic, ASE T7 HVAC systems.
–Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL), or Class B, or higher CDL with air brakes.
–One year of experience in a technician position demonstrating knowledge of gasoline and diesel powered equipment diagnosis and repair; or graduation from an accredited automotive college or technical school within three months.
