One of the key members of the Indiana Pacers' resurgence is reportedly going to sign with another team. Multiple sources, including The Charlotte Observer and ESPN, say Lance Stephenson will sign today with the Charlotte Hornets. The deal is expected to be worth around $27 million for up to three seasons, slightly more on average per year than what the Pacers reportedly offered.

Stephenson, who just finished his fourth season with Indiana, had a breakout performance in 2013-2014. He helped the team to two consecutive appearances in the NBA Eastern Conference Finals.

Charlotte recently drafted another player with connections to Indiana. With the ninth pick, the Hornets took Indiana University power forward Noah Vonleh.
