Regional Sports Convention to Draw Hundreds to Fort Wayne

Subscribe NowVisit Fort Wayne expects a regional health industry event to attract more than 500 sports medicine and exercise science professionals to the city this weekend. The Indianapolis-based American College of Sports Medicine will host its 43rd Midwest Chapter Annual Meeting Friday and Saturday at the Grand Wayne Convention Center.
The gathering will include presentations and symposiums, clinical tutorials and networking sessions. Visit Fort Wayne says meeting participants will also attend a Fort Wayne Komets game and contribute to the local economy by eating at local restaurants and hitting trails and other events in the city.
ACSM was founded in 1954.
