Newsweek is out with its annual list of “America’s Best Regional Banks and Credit Unions,” and nearly two dozen Indiana institutions are included.

The publication partnered with New York advisory firm Plant-A Insights Group to compile the list based on factors including profitability, financial relevance, and risk exposures to financial uncertainties.

In addition to the evaluation of more than 9,100 institutions, Newsweek used responses from an independent survey of more than 71,000 customers throughout the country, as well as more than 1.9 million social media reviews.
