A two-day event focusing on mass transit opportunities in northwest Indiana will kick off Thursday in Hammond. The Regional Transportation Corporation Summit, hosted by the Gary Public Transportation Corp., will feature presentations and discussion on existing transportation and potential related development to boost the region’s workforce and quality of life.
