Fran Valentine has been named the director of operations for the Indiana University (IU) Center for Aging Research at Regenstrief Institute. She most recently served as senior director of research analysis and engagement at the Indiana Department of Workforce Development. Prior to that role, Valentine worked at the Indiana Economic Development Corporation. 

She earned a master of library and information science from the School of Informatics and Computing at IUPUI. Valentine also has her undergraduate degree from IUPUI.
