Chandan Sen has been elected as a fellow of the National Academy of Inventors. He serves as director of the Indiana Center for Regenerative Medicine and Engineering at Indiana University School of Medicine and also holds the role of executive director of the Comprehensive Wound Care Center at IU Health Methodist. The NAI recognizes the election of fellow status as the highest professional distinction solely to academic inventors.

Sen has “demonstrated a highly prolific spirit of innovation in creating or facilitating outstanding inventions that have made a tangible impact on the quality of life, economic development, and welfare of society,” the NAI Fellows Selection Committee stated in a congratulatory letter.
