Red Skelton Festival Compacts Schedule

Organizers of this weekend's annual Red Skelton Festival in Vincennes hope a shorter event will increase interest. The Vincennes Sun-Commercial reports the festival, which begins Friday, will run two days instead of a week. The festival has been around for nearly a decade.

It will also be centered in the city's Patrick Henry Square. In previous years, events had been spread out throughout the area.
