The Indiana Region of the American Red Cross has appointed Jennifer Pfeil chief development officer. She most recently served in a similar role at WFYI Public Media, where she led all aspects of fundraising including corporate support, membership, major and planned giving, grants and data. Pfeil also led the successful closure of an $8.5 million capital campaign.

She also served as vice president of investor relations at the United Way of Central Indiana. Her work focused on major and planned giving and grants, with annual revenue responsibility of $24 million.

Pfeil holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from Purdue University and is a 2016 graduate of the Hoosier Fellows program. Her community involvement has included serving on the board of Habitat for Humanity of Hamilton County, as a member of Noblesville Schools High Ability Committee and as youth education leader at church.
