Pennsylvania-based Recovery Centers of America has named Stephanie Anderson chief executive officer for its new treatment center opening in Indianapolis. She has held several leadership positions with healthcare organizations, most recently serving as chief executive officer at Acadia Healthcare. 

Anderson has also held two executive positions with the state of Indiana, serving residents through the Indiana Department of Correction and the Family and Social Services Administration. While with the IDOC she served as executive director for the addiction recovery services division. Anderson also served as deputy director of adult mental health and addiction in FSSA’s Division of Mental Health and Addiction.

Anderson earned B.S. degrees in both Criminal Justice and Ballet from Indiana University, Bloomington, and her Master of Social Work from Washington University, Saint Louis.
