Realty Company Signs on at 16 Tech

Indianapolis-based Shook Realty Group has purchased a new office building in the city’s growing 16 Tech district. Principal Jim Shook says the move gives the company room to grow and add people.
Shook Realty Group is the parent company of Coldwell Banker Commercial Realty Services and Shook Management Co Inc. In a release, Shook said, "Though we enjoyed our tenure at Keystone at the Crossing, our home for over 15 years, we are thrilled to be moving into a new space that puts us in the heart of the exciting 16 Tech district in downtown Indianapolis. This move to an eclectic, open office space reflects a modern approach to expanding our real estate brokerage, asset and property management, investment, and development teams. Our new location gives us a fresh perspective, room to grow our businesses and space to add the additional personnel necessary to serve our clientele."
The 16 Tech Community Corp. was formed by local stakeholders to lead the development of the so-called innovation district. The 60-acre development aims to attract global life sciences and technology companies of all sizes. It is also the planned location of the proposed $360 million Indiana Biosciences Research Institute.
