Raytheon Awarded Military Contracts Raytheon has reduced energy consumption by 13 percent and has been a "Zero Landfill" facility since 2011.

The U.S. Department of Defense has awarded a pair of foreign military sales contracts to Raytheon Co. in Fort Wayne and Indianapolis. The contracts, totaling more than $22 million, call for work that will be performed for the military services of several countries.

Raytheon in Fort Wayne will receive more than $13.5 million to procure ARC-231 hardware for the United Arab Emirates, Australia, Netherlands, Saudi Arabia, and Thailand. The ARC-231 is an airborne communication system produced by Raytheon. Work on the contract will be performed in Fort Wayne and is expected to be complete by January 31, 2021.

Raytheon in Indianapolis will receive nearly $9 million for the repair and return of the company’s Integrated Fire Control System for the military in Jordan. Work will be performed in Indianapolis and is expected to be complete by September 27, 2021.

The U.S. Army Contracting Commands in Michigan and Maryland are the contracting activities.
