‘Rapid Growth’ Leads PetFirst to Relocate in Jeffersonville

Jeffersonville-based PetFirst Pet Insurance has announced plans to relocate its headquarters in the Clark County city. The company says it has outgrown its current facility and the move will allow for double-digit employee growth.
PetFirst moved into its currently location in 2008 and expanded the facility in 2010. The company says the new location at Water Town Square in Jeffersonville will provide an "open environment for creativity and collaboration" with meeting rooms, break-out spaces, a lounge area and a cafe.
"The time is right for us to increase our office space and invest further in our collaborative culture," said Katie Blakeley, chief executive officer of PetFirst. "Our entire organization is committed to serving the needs of dog and cat parents across the U.S. This new space will foster more collaboration and unity among our team members."
PetFirst currently has more than 50 employees. The company says its growth is reflective of the overall pet health insurance industry, which could exceed $1 billion in premiums this year.
