The group spearheading national efforts to market vacant GM sites is continuing conversations with Anderson development officials. Our partners at The Herald Bulletin report RACER Trust representatives met Wednesday with Mayor Kevin Smith and area stakeholders to discuss potential recommendations for three properties in the city. RACER Trust Liz Boyd tells the publication the meeting was “very productive,” but says no announcements are planned any time soon.

Following GM's bankruptcy, the trust was charged with trying to sell operations in 14 states. It has since cut that total by more than a third.

RACER Trust is also working with communities including Indianapolis and Kokomo.
