Purdue University veterinarian Sandra San Miguel has been honored with the outstanding public service award at Multiplying Good’s national Jefferson Awards. She won the award for creating an after-school program that shows grade school children what veterinary medicine is like to inspire their interest in sciences. Multiplying Goods is a national nonprofit dedicated to powering and celebrating public service.
