Purdue University Names Head of Mechanical Engineering

Eckhard Groll

The Purdue College of Engineering has named Eckhard Groll as the William E. and Florence E. Perry Head of Mechanical Engineering. Groll currently serves as associate dean for undergraduate and graduate education for the College of Engineering. He came to Purdue as an assistant professor in 1994 and became a full professor in 2005. He holds degrees from Ruhr-University of Bochum and University of Hanover, Germany.
