Purdue to Announce Polytechnic HS Location

Subscribe NowPurdue University will announce the future location of the Purdue Polytechnic High School in Indianapolis Monday morning. The university will also detail a new partnership with Indianapolis Public Schools.
The university will also mark the opening of applications for the high school. Purdue President Mitch Daniels will be joined by IPS Superintendent Lewis Ferebee and Indianapolis Mayor Joe Hogsett for the announcement, which will take place at the former PR Mallory building on the city’s east side.
In April, Purdue named Scott Bess the first head of school for Purdue Polytechnic High School. Purdue said then that the school is "designed to provide a bridge for inner-city students and others to succeed in high school and to be admitted directly to Purdue University."
