Grow Dubois County has extended a partnership with the Purdue Technical Assistance Program. The five-year deal is valued at $250,000. Officials say the collaboration has yielded a more than $33 million economic impact since 2007. March 26, 2015

JASPER, Ind. (March 12 2015) – Grow Dubois County has announced continued investment of local funds in support of the regional Purdue Technical Assistance Program (TAP) office. In total, the organization will provide $250,000 of funding to the Purdue program over the next five years.

Purdue's presence in the region, which dates back to 2007, has proved advantageous for Dubois County. In the past three years, the partnership between Dubois Strong and Purdue TAP has resulted in over $33 million in local economic impact. That impact is composed of $30.4 million in increased and retained sales, $2.2 million in cost savings, and $742,000 in investment. The program has also impacted a total of 269 jobs in the area.

Purdue TAP has worked with local companies such as Jasper Rubber, German American Bank and Ridetech.

“I am excited to continue working directly in Dubois County bringing Purdue's programs to the doorsteps of many wonderful organizations. We have been very successful the past three years and I will continue to ensure that success continues,” said Adam Auffart, Southwest Indiana Account Manager for Purdue TAP.
