Purdue President Mitch Daniels has promoted Chris Ruhl to treasurer and chief financial officer. He has served as senior vice president for strategic initiatives and CFO for Purdue Global since July 2017.

Ruhl came to Purdue from Ivy Tech Community College, where he was CFO and general counsel.

He has also served as director of the Indiana Office of Management and Budget,  director of the Indiana State Budget Agency and policy director and general counsel for the Indiana OMB under. 

Ruhl holds a juris doctorate from the Valparaiso University School of Law and a bachelor’s degree in finance from the Michigan State University Eli Broad College of Business.
