Purdue Programs Focus on Commercialization, Innovation

Subscribe NowTwo programs have been launched by Purdue University to boost entrepreneurship and technology transfer throughout the state. Purdue Innovation-X License and FoundryX involve incentives, commercialization expertise and favorable terms for licensing Purdue innovations.
Both initiatives will be run by the Purdue Research Foundation’s Office of Technology Commercialization and the Purdue Foundry.
Startups and existing businesses involved in Purdue Innovation-X License will be offered terms for a limited time to license Purdue University-patented discoveries in sectors including agriculture, engineering, biomedical, energy, computer technology, pharmaceuticals, manufacturing and information technology.
FoundryX focuses on tapping into the state’s pipeline of industry leaders and business experts with startups in the early stages of development. It includes networking events, mentoring opportunities and collaborations geared toward bringing Purdue-supported technologies to market.
Purdue is coming off two consecutive years of record-breaking commercialization activity.
