Purdue University Northwest has appointed Jeff Shires to executive director of concurrent enrollment/dual credit. He is an associate professor of communication at the university. Shires has experience serving the concurrent enrollment/dual credit program offered at the former Purdue North Central. In his new role, his responsibilities include providing program leadership and strategic vision, managing daily operations and facilitating partnerships with local school systems.
