Purdue University has named William Crossley as head of the School of Aeronautics and Astronautics. Crossley currently serves as a professor in the School of Aeronautics and as director of Partnership to Enhance General Aviation Safety, Accessibility, and Sustainability. He will lead about 1,500 undergraduate and graduate students and 38 faculty members in the fall. Crossley holds degrees from the University of Michigan and Arizona State University.
