Purdue University has appointed Senay Simsek as head of the department of food science in the university’s college of agriculture. She most recently served as an endowed professor at North Dakota State University. Simsek holds a bachelor’s degree from Bülent Ecevit University, a master’s degree from Gebze Technical University and PhD. from Purdue University.
