Purdue Names Head of Department of Animal Sciences

John Blanton has been named head of the Department of Animal Sciences at Purdue University. He has held positions at several universities, private industry and nonprofit research institutions. Blanton assumed his role on February 1. He holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees from New Mexico State University and his doctoral degree from Purdue University.
