Purdue University Professor Ellen Kossek has been elected by the Academy of Management as a fellow. She is a professor of management and research director for the Susan Bulkeley Butler Center for Leadership Excellence. Kossek is one of nine new fellows to the organization. The fellowship is a lifetime designation.

Kossek’s research focuses on organizational and leader support for subjects like gender diversity, boundary management, interventions. She has been published in more than 90 refereed journal articles as well as 10 books and a number of technical reports and teaching aides.

She is the second member of Purdue’s faculty to receive this recognition, behind Dan Schendel, a strategic management specialist. Kossek will be recognized for her achievement along with the other new fellows on August 10-14 in Chicago, during the organization’s annual meeting.
