Purdue Holding Furniture Liquidation Sale

As a subscriber you can listen to articles at work, in the car, or while you work out. Subscribe NowPurdue University Surplus will host a three-day furniture liquidation sale beginning this weekend. The Purdue Memorial Union Club is being renovated and all furniture will be included in the sales beginning Saturday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. and June 10 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. The sale will include pieces from nearly 200 hotel rooms with bed frames, miniature refrigerators, televisions, chairs, dressers, nightstands and lamps.
Items must be paid for and removed the day of purchase, with cash, checks and all major debit and credit cards being accepted. The sale takes place at the hotel on 101 North Grant Street, with the east side of the Purdue Memorial Union serving as a loading zone.
Parking is available on an hourly basis in the Grant Street parking Garage, and the Wood Street Parking Garage is also available for free on weekends or after 5 p.m. on weekdays.
Construction is underway and is expected to last approximately one year.
