Subscribe NowPurdue University has hired Thomas Verhoeven as the president’s fellow for pharmaceuticals development and partnerships. He was previously senior vice president of global product development and co-leader of the Development Center of Excellence at Eli Lilly and Co. Verhoeven will help the university’s drug discovery team bridge the gap from academic to clinical research and make new treatments available to patients. He earned his bachelor’s degree in chemistry from the University of Michigan and his doctorate in organic chemistry from the University of Wisconsin.
