Purdue Global says the partnership will allow its students to use the website’s online courses, tuition-free, in order to satisfy certain general education requirements.
“Purdue University Global is proud to offer our students an outstanding, flexible education that grows their skills and advances their careers,” Purdue Global Provost Jon Harbor said. “Our partnership with OnlineDegree.com is an additional pathway to Purdue Global that makes higher education even more accessible and allows us to help even more adult students achieve their professional goals.”
Purdue says OnlineDegree.com is a learning platform that gives anyone the ability to “test-drive” the college experience and receive college credit toward their degree at no charge.
“The aftermath of COVID-19 has left millions of jobless people in the country who need new skills and education,” said Grant Aldrich, founder of OnlineDegree.com. “Our partnership during these difficult times will make that high-quality education even more accessible to those people across the country who desperately need it.”
Through the partnership, prospective Purdue Global students will have up to 44 units of available credit that can be applied toward a degree.
