Purdue Fort Wayne Adds New Programs
Purdue University Fort Wayne has added three new degree options. The Bachelor of Science in psychology and online options in early childhood education and business will be available to students beginning in the fall.
College of Arts and Sciences Dean Carl Link says the psychology program will focus on human behavior and the study of the mind using scientific research and experimentation.
Associate Vice Chancellor For Academic Affairs Carol Sternberger says the new online programs in early education and business will provide flexibility for students seeking four-year degrees in those areas. Students in the early education program can choose from focuses including birth through age five and pre-kindergarten through grade three. The online business degree offers marketing or management majors.
In March, the Higher Learning Commission gave final approval to IPFW’s realignment and name change to Purdue University Fort Wayne.
