Purdue University and Crane Naval Surface Warfare Center are set to announce details Friday of a commercialization partnership. The agreement will involve joint promotion of research and intellectual property among Crane, the Purdue Research Foundation and Purdue's Discovery Park. August 19, 2014

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. and CRANE, Ind. – Naval Surface Warfare Center Crane Division (NSWC Crane), Purdue Research Foundation and Purdue University's Discovery Park will sign a commercialization agreement to jointly promote intellectual property originating from research that encompasses multiple sectors.

Full details of the agreement will be announced at the signing, which will be at 11:30 a.m. EDT on Friday (Aug. 22) at NSWC Crane, Crane, Ind.

Officials at the event include Capt. Jeffrey “JT” Elder, commanding officer of NSWC Crane, and Dan Hasler, president and chief entrepreneurial officer of Purdue Research Foundation.
