The events at Purdue University Calumet in Hammond and Purdue University North Central in Westville will feature a total of nearly 100 employers.
Purdue North Central’s event will be held Wednesday, February 17 from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Library Student Faculty Building. Nearly 40 employers will be at the event.
Purdue Calumet’s career expo will be held Friday, February 19 from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the university’s Fitness & Recreation Center. Over 60 employers will be present.
"The Spring Career Expo is an opportunity to connect students, alumni and community residents with employers based across the Midwest," said Natalie Connors, director of career development and services for Purdue Calumet and Purdue North Central. “We are very excited to have a great mix of representative organizations from different industries scheduled to participate in these events, from public education to automotive manufacturing.”
The universities say employers at both events will be recruiting college graduates or job candidates pursuing a degree. Both events are free but participants are being asked to pre-register to attend.
