Public Meeting to Detail I-69 Work

The funding includes $435 million in Local Option Income Tax money as well as an additional $70 million for local government rainy day funds.

A public meeting Monday will focus on additional construction work on I-69 in east central Indiana. The meeting will be conducted by the Indiana Department of Transportation to detail and answer questions about added travel lanes and maintenance. The work will involve a section of the interstate between State Road 38 and State Road 32.

The hour-long public meeting will include INDOT and contractors Walsh Construction and Rieth-Riley. It will begin at 5 p.m. at the Ricker’s Student Commons on the Ivy Tech Community College campus in Anderson. Paving and additional construction work is continuing on I-69 between southern Hamilton County and southern Delaware County.
