Project Lead The Way has named David Greer senior vice president and chief programs officer. He has more than 20 years of experience in K-12 and post-secondary career and technology education, information technology and digital security, and technology innovation. Greer previously served as executive director of the Institute for Information Security (iSec) at the University of Tulsa. He also served as executive director of the Oklahoma Innovation Institute, a nonprofit corporation committed to building an innovative economy in the Tulsa region. Greer is considered a leader in information security and digital forensics education and training, having briefed U.S. senators and the FBI, IRS, National Security Agency and Department of Defense on information security, critical infrastructure protection, cyber-crime and digital forensics. He serves on the Oklahoma Governor’s Science and Technology Council and has recently been appointed to the board of directors of the Oklahoma Space Industry Development Authority.
