Indianapolis-based Priority Communications has acquired another central Indiana telecommunications provider. Financial terms of the deal for Midwest Telephone were not disclosed. 

Employees at Midwest Telephone will continue under the Priority banner, according to the company. Priority says the acquisition will allow the company to expand its product offering while continuing to focus on customers’ needs.

Last month, Priority completed the relocation to its new headquarters near Carmel. The company said the $300,000 investment will allow it to add 20 jobs over the next three years.
