President Trump Coming Back to Evansville

He plans a rally next week in Evansville, which marks his second visit to the southwest Indiana city and the 10th visit to the state since June of 2015. Donald J. Trump for President Inc. says the message during the event will include a focus on economic policies and support for Republican Senate candidate Mike Braun. Braun is challenging incumbent Senator Joe Donnelly (D-IN).
The rally is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. Central Time Thursday, August 30 at the Ford Center in downtown Evansville. Campaign Chief Operating Officer Michael Glassner says the president will discuss trade policies, immigration and regulatory roll-backs in the coal industry. Trump last visited the state in May when he held a rally in Elkhart. Candidate Donald Trump made two stops in Evansville in 2016.
