The Indianapolis Historic Preservation Commission has appointed Bernice Corley to its nine-member board. She holds the role of executive director of the Indiana Public Defender Council and previously served as general counsel at the Department of Education and as legal counsel for the Indiana Senate and House of Representatives. Corley holds a bachelor’s degree from Ball State University and JD from Drake University Law School.
