Pre-K Program Deadline Approaching Five counties were part of the pilot launch that started in January 2015.

Families in five Indiana counties have until Friday to register for the On My Way Pre-K program. The Indiana Office of Early Childhood and Out-of-School Learning says, if approved, families can choose from 262 pre-K providers for the 2017-2018 academic year.

The program remains available in the five pilot counties: Allen, Jackson, Lake, Marion and Vanderburgh. The city of Indianapolis is providing additional funding for Marion County through its Indy Preschool Scholarship Program, for which families can apply along with On My Way Pre-K in a single application.

Families must have an income below 127 percent of the federal poverty level and the child must me four years old by August 1, 2017 and starting kindergarten in July or August 2018 to apply in each county. In Marion county, children 3 or 4 years of age from families living at or below 185 percent of the federal poverty level can apply as well.

You can find more information on how to apply in each county by clicking here.
