Postal Center International opens Brownsburg facility

Florida-based Postal Center International has opened its fourth full-service mail processing center in Brownsburg.
The $8 million, 65,000-square-foot facility, known as PCI Midwest, has the capacity to process several million pieces of first-class mail each day, the company said.
A spokesperson for PCI told Inside INdiana Business that 100 new jobs have been created at the new facility thus far, and more positions are being added weekly.
PCI is a business alliance partner with the United States Postal Service and says the Brownsburg facility will expand that relationship by boosting the USPS’ regional capacity.
CEO Ismael Diaz calls the expansion a strategic milestone driven by client demand.
“We built this facility in just 90 days, and we’re not slowing down,” Diaz said in the release. “PCI Midwest represents our commitment to meeting clients where they are—bringing jobs, value, and white-glove service to the region.”
Officials held a grand opening ceremony on May 15 that included local and state leaders, including Brownsburg Town Manager Deb Cook and Brownsburg Chamber of Commerce President Samuel Lowe, as well as representatives from USPS.
The new location joins PCI facilities in San Antonio, Texas and Franklin, Massachusetts, as well as the company’s headquarters in Weston, Florida. Diaz said the company is now targeting a facility in Phoenix, Arizona, as well as the Mid-Atlantic area.
