Poseyville Regional Cities Project Set For Ribbon Cutting

State and local officials will Thursday afternoon cut the ribbon on a project in Poseyville supported by Regional Cities Initiative funding. The Poseyville Medical Foundation Inc. has completed work on the $700,000 Regional Medical Center, for which the state contributed more than $135,000.
The facility houses two family practice physicians and laboratory services serving residents in Posey, Gibson and Vanderburgh counties. The Indiana Economic Development Corp. says the facility will "enhance the region’s quality of place by ensuring convenient access to medical treatment."
IEDC President Elaine Bedel and Southwest Indiana Regional Development Authority Chair Beth McFadin Higgins will be on hand for the ribbon cutting ceremony, which is scheduled to begin at 3:00.
