The Posey County Economic Development Partnership has named Brittaney Johnson executive director. She previously served as Posey County director for the Southwest Indiana Chamber of Commerce. Johnson succeeds John Taylor, who retired late last year. She is a University of Southern Indiana graduate and is a board member with Visit Posey County Inc. and Posey County Junior Achievement. Johnson also serves the Posey County Career Success Coalition, Mt. Vernon Kiwanis, New Harmony Business Associates, Mt. Vernon Bicentennial Committee and Indiana Economic Development Association. The Posey County Economic Development Partnership has more than 130 members.
