Indianapolis-based Porch Light Public Relations has hired Emily Koschnick director of public relations. She most recently served as deputy communications director for Indianapolis Mayor Joe Hogsett.

Koschnick has more than a decade of experience in the local news media, serving as producer for a variety of newscasts and executive producer of Fox 59 News at 10.

She graduated from St. Joseph’s College with a bachelor’s degree in political science and a minor in journalism.
