Pennsylvania-based Polytek Development Corp. has completed an expansion of its production facility in Franklin. The company, which manufactures specialty polymers for mold making and casting applications, is not disclosing financial details of the expansion.
The company has installed supplementary epoxy storage capacity and processing equipment at the location. Polytek says the additions will "better serve existing and new customers with increased availability and decreased lead times."
The expansion was completed earlier this month.
Polytek first came to the Johnson County city earlier this year after it acquired Franklin-based BCC Products Inc. A spokesperson for the company tells Inside INdiana Business it is currently hiring for positions at all levels of the business in Franklin, including manufacturing and research and development roles.
