Indianapolis-based Plews Shadley Racher & Braun LLP has added Kyle Steinbrueck (pictured) and Christopher Kozak as associates, and Kayla Bruner (pictured) as a paralegal. Steinbrueck focuses his practice in the area of insurance coverage litigation. He has represented clients in coverage disputes involving a variety of insurance policies including Commercial General Liability, Directors & Officers, Homeowners and Automobile policies. Steinbrueck previously practiced at a law firm in St. Louis, Missouri, where he represented clients in insurance coverage disputes and personal injury litigation.

Kozak concentrates his practice in general civil litigation, with an interest in statutory/contractual interpretation, federal jurisdiction and procedure and federal appeals. He also pursues his passion for pro bono representation of human trafficking survivors. Kozak previously served as a law clerk to the Honorable David W. McKeague on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit.

Bruner graduated from Ball State University with a Bachelor’s of Science in Legal Studies. She previously worked for the Marion County Prosecutor’s Office and a general practice law firm in Muncie.
